How to add your post to superdrugloves.com


This guide will show you how to register as a blogger on Superdrugloves.com and how you can then add your posts.

Step one

Click ‘Register’ located in the top right hand corner of the blog

Fill in a username and email address. Then click ‘Register’

Your password will be sent to your email address.

Step two

Once logged in, click ‘Add New’ under posts.

Enter the title of your post and write your blog post in the boxes provided.

Step three

If you need to add any images to your post then click the image button on the WordPress dashboard.

A new window will pop up. Click ‘Select Files’

A windows box will pop up. Find the photograph wish to post, select it, and click Open.

The file will upload. This may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Give the Image a title and add some alt text. You don’t need to add an image description. If a link has been added into the link URL box then delete this. Click ‘Insert into Post’ found at the bottom of the dashboard.

Your image should appear within your post.

Step four

If you need to add links to your blog post, highlight the word you need to link and click on the link button shown below:

Enter the URL of where you want to link to. In the target box click ‘open in new window’. You don’t need to add a title or choose a class.

Step five

Every post you make needs to have a thumbnail image. When you are adding your post you will see this at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE SIZE OF YOUR THUMBNAIL IS 220 WIDTH BY 160 HEIGHT and ONLY JPEGS with less than 2 mb in size

Click browse, select your image and then click upload.

Once you have clicked on upload, you will see the image you have uploaded like this:

As you can see part of your image is highlighted dark, and the other are in light normal. You can mouseover the white area to move the exact image area you want to display. You can also resize you image using this system.

Once you are happy, put a title for the image or a description under THUMBNAIL NAME and click on SAVE THUMBNAIL

Step six

Once you’ve completed your post, click ‘publish’. This is on the right hand side of the WordPress dashboard.

Your post will then be sent for moderation. If approved, it’ll be there for the entire world to see!

    HEY I VE entered in get the look competition but its not showing up.how long it takes to publish???
